Question
Hi Frank,

We are currently going thru the process of obtaining visas and have been approved. We are looking to move to Sunshine Coast ( probably Buderim area ) or South West of Brisbane ( Burbank/Chandler way ). Do you know these areas at all? We have visited both and done lots research on schools and houses but can't make up our minds. Dilema in where to set up new tile outlet is the main sticking point.
Appreciate your thoughts as an expert on life in Oz!

Dawn.

Answer
G'day Dawn,
Both areas you mention would be fine. I feel Buderim may offer the better business opportunities, as the Sunshine Coast is booming. You are also close to the beach. Buderim is only just over an hour from Brisbane, so you are close to a major city. If you want city living, then opt for Chandler / Burbank.

Regards,
Frank

Expertise

I have lived in Brisbane all my life (53 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience

I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.
