Question"hello,
I am a scientist researcher, living in South Korea now. My husband is now in his PhD course. He will graduate in the end of this year. We are planning to move to Australia and work as postdocs for several years. I would like to know:
1. Is it difficult for us to find a suitable positions in some universities or some Institutions there?
2. We have a 9-month old son, and we will take him together. So, is is possible to find a kindergarden for children from 1 year old there? And, is it expensive? Is there an English environment for him? (He will learn to speak at that time, and I wish he can get English besides mother language). And, is there any support for family with baby. (In Europe, especially North Europe, there is a good support for babies)
3. my son suffers form atopic dermatitis, so too hot or too cold is not good for his skin. Where is the ideal places we can live?
Best regards
Do hang"
AnswerHello Do,
Question 1- If your qualifications are good, you will have no problem getting a job.
Question 2 - You will be able to get your son into kindergarten, but it may be expensive. He will have exposure to english, and should learn easily.'
Question 3 - Too hot or too cold may be hard to find. I would suggest somehwre near the beach, either Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast which are both in Queensland.
Regards,
Frank
