Hi Denison,

My family and I from Singapore will be coming down to Brisbane, Goldcoast for a holiday between 13 - 20 Nov 06. We're very much interested in sight-seeing and we'll be covering Sea World, Movie World and Paradis Country. Was wondering if you could pse advise on any best self-drive itineraries/destinations, market etc which we should visit.

Any suggestions of good maps for self-drive reference?

G'day Mabel,
           You have mentioned all the main places to vist on the Gold Coast. You could also try Currumbin Bird Sanctuary.

In Brisbane, you should visit Lone Pine Koala Sancturay, South Bank Parklands, Mt Cootha, The Museum, The Science Centre, Botanic Gardens. Do a trip on the City Cat as well on the Brisbane River.  Brisbane has markets on Sunday at the Riverside Centre, which are good.

It is an hours drive from the Gold Coast to Brisbane.
