(Previous Question)
Hi, me and my girlfriend will be in Brisbane at Christmas. Can you recommend a nice restaurant where we can eat on Christmas Day please? Searched on the internet but had no luck so far. Your advice would be appreciated. Many Thanks.
Answer
G'day David,
For the last 5 years, my wife have had the Seafood Buffet at the Hilton Hotel. It is a superb meal, but it is expensive ($95 per person). I will do some more research over the next few weeks and find some more options. We have sold our house, and are packing / moving this week, so we are very busy. If I have not got back to you in 3 weeks, please contact me again ( I may have forgotten).

AnswerG'day David and Sarah,
I have rung around Brisbane, and a lot of the hotels ere fully booked. The ones I would recommend that are not booked out at this stage are The Hilton, The Sofitel, and The Stamford Plaza are all doing a seafood buffet. All are in the city and with in walking distance from public transport. The Sofitel is the least expensive at $98 per person. The other 2 are over $120 per person. The Novetel is also in the city, and is doing an "a la carte " menu and may be the best value if your budget is an issue.
