Australia/Climate in Brisbane

Question
Hi!
My family and I are planning a move to Brisbane later this year. However, one aspect of the move we are a little guarded about is the humidity!
Is the weather as extreme as what I've read and heard!!
Thanks

Chris

Answer
Chris:
If I were able to move to Australia, I would move to Brisbane because of the climate.  Other cities have activities and cultures that I more prefer but Brisbane has the weather I would select.
I don't know where you are moving from but it is kind of difficult to beat mid summer temperatures of 80-85 degrees with moderate humidity. As you go more north toward Cairns the humidity can get opressive but there are ocean winds that help even up there.  Go to WWW.Australia.AU for a website that can give you more information.
Hope this helps.
