My husband and I will be arriving in Brisbane next week for the Rotary International Convention.  

I have been searching the internet trying to locate Internet Cafes in your area.  I found several, but the links were dead.  We are actually staying in Ascot, but will be spending most of our time in Brisbane.  Does Brisbane have Internet Cafes?  

Also, will we need a converter to use appliances - like an alarm clock, curling iron, etc., in Australia?

Thanks in advance.  We are looking forward to our trip to Australia and spending time in your city.

G'day Lori,
          There are quite a few Internet cafes in the actual city of Brisbane. All Brisbane City Council  Libraries have FREE internet access as well.
The closest one to you will be at the Hamilton Libray (on Racecourse Road) which is close to Ascot.
