Question
Hi Frank
My wife and I are considering a move from Auckland to Brisbane. She is Japanese and we have two mixed race children. Which suburbs would be best for us?
Cheers

Answer
G'day Roger,
Sorry for the delay, but I have just moved house, and I am still waiting on an internet connection for our new home. I am at an internet cafe now.

I could not say for sure which suburb would be best. I know the suburbs around Darra and Durack have a big population of Asians, which may be suitable for you and your family. If you didnt want to move into an area where there were a high percentage of asians, I would suggest the Northern suburbs. Inner city suburbs like Albion, Wooloowin, Clayfield are good. 30 km and more from the city are Kallangur, Kurwongbah, Bray Park, Petrie, Lawnton, Strathpine and Aspley. When you decide, contact me again and I can help you more with a suburb.

Regards,
Frank

Expertise

I have lived in Brisbane all my life (53 years). I am very proud of our city and the Sunshine State of Queensland. I am happy to help in any way possible. Queensland is a very humid and hot place in Summer, which makes it great for outdoor fun.

Experience

I have a great love and knowledge of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I holiday on the Sunshine Coast every year, and visit the Gold Coast numerous times during the year for work. We love to dine out, and can recommend many places to try in Brisbane and the Coasts.
