Australia/What is year 2005.

I am doing a study of Australia and what is the year 2005 subject of (eg.  2002 year of the Outback).  Hoping that you can help me.

G'day Katrina,
            The only thing I can find on any Australian government web sites is the international year of Physics.

I rang the Australian government, and they advised me the "year of" is actually chosen by an international organisation, and not by the Australian Governemt.

Sorry I could not help more.
