Australian Cattle Dogs/At what age do red ACD ears come up?

Question
We just adopted a red ACD mix (or full breed; we're not sure) from a rescue group. She's presumed to be about 6 months old. She has the most adorable floppy ears. If her ears are not up by now, do you think they're unlikely to come up? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Amy, If the ears are indeed "floppy", I doubt very much that they will come up......but it is possible. Typically if ears are not standing by five months,we tape them up. If the ears are down but "stiff" there is still a chance that they will come up. Wendy
