Australian Shepherds/Yellow Coat?

Question
I have a australian shepherd but she isn't your normal
everyday color. She is yellow, now I have been looking
online at some yellow aussie, but I wanted to know for sure
is it possible to have a yellow australian shepherd? I am
positive she isn't mixed. Also are there any health concerns
with the yellows, like the whites?

Answer
It is possible to have a yellow Aussie.  Here's some information on them: http://www.ashgi.org/color/yellow_aussies.htm
There are the normal health concerns, such as hip dysplasia, epilepsy, eye disorders, and hypothyroidism that occur in the Aussie gene pool, but being yellow is not the same as the "lethal white" scenario.  Hope that makes you feel better.
