What is the cheapest way from Vienna to Budapest-one way.  I'll be traveling w/my girlfriend.  There are no SparSchien tickets available at 19 euros.  Feel free to be as creative as you like by suggesting combinations too (i.e. bus/train, etc).

I just need the cheapest solution.  And we will not hitchhike or walk.

Honestly, I can't really do anything other than just search the internet sites for train tickets, and the prices vary hugely depending on how much time in advance you can purchase. I did a brief check and I found the cheapest tickets through the OBB at 35.00. If you are under 26, there may be discounts available. I do not have experience using buses, so I can't speak to that option. I apologize that I couldn't be more helpful.
