Could you please tell me of any accomodation that would be nice in this town for my wife and 2 teenage kids? Thankyou Jim

Hello Jim,

I can't recall the name of the place I stayed in Hallstatt but pretty much all accomodations in this town will be nice for your wife and kids.  My former roommate had stayed at the Gasthof Simony in Hallstatt and had recommended it to me but it was booked the weekend I was there.

You can find the Gasthof Simony under the "Inn (Not Specified)" link.  Personally, I would email some of the Private Room listings which are like Bed & Breakfasts and might be a more unique experience for your family then a regular hotel.  Hallstatt is a beautiful little town and I don't think you'll go wrong wherever you choose to stay!
