Austria/Laws regarding booking travel in Austria

QuestionI am an administrative assistant trying to book travel for an employee who resides in Vienna. He has been told that he has to book the travel, rather than myself, because there is a law stating this. I can't find anything on this law and our company has a policy about booking travel. Do you know where I could look to find this information?
AnswerI am not familiar with that law, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I just checked the website I use for train tickets and it might be a problem for you to buy them because train tickets are issued on paper - not electronically. These tickets can then be mailed, but only to addresses outside of Europe. I guess they figure if you live in Austria, you can just go buy them personally. So even if the law does allow you to purchase them, I don't know if you would be able to get them to your boss. I'm sorry I couldnt be more helpful!
