Greetings!  My family and I are booked into a hotel in St. Wolfgang am See about how long does it take to drive from Salzburg to there?  I hope it is not too inconvenient?  Also do you know if the famous Salzburg Festival is in progress in mid-August?  How do you get tickets?  I know there is some kind of web site for the festival which I will search out.    Thanks S. From to Salzburg to St. Wolfgang I would estimate a time
of about 1 hr by car. There are also regular busses between
Salzburg and St. Wolfgang. Roads are small but okay, no problem to drive there.

The St Wolfgang / St Gilgen are is very nice, I am sure you
will like it there. In case you need more info I would
