Austria/travel with a 9 month old baby

Question
Are many museums and attractions restricted/ off-limits to infants?  Do you have any recommendations for bringing a crawling 9 month old baby to Vienna?  We will be spending one week in Vienna in March and wonder where we can take our infant besides the Schonbrunn Park and possibly the Amusement Park.  I expect we will need to bring our infant car-seat and stroller and possibly a portable crib.  Is there a good baby store where we can buy some safety items (outlet plug covers) and toys? Any advice or recommendations?

Answer
Dear Norma,

I think it is wonderful that you are bringing your baby to Austria!

Since it is a long flight I suggest you find out how to protect the baby's ears in the airplane.
Infant's ears are very sensitive to the pressure up in the air...
Anyhow,Austria is a very "child -friendly" country  and you will definitely be able to bring your baby to the Schoenbrunn Park and to the Amusement park also.Car-seats are required and if you will do a lot of exploring,a stroller would be good.
There are plenty of Toy stores ( TOYS' R'US etc ) and it is common in  many homes/hotels in Austria that the outlet plugs already have covers on them.

A nice attraction is also the Zoo ( Tiergarten Schoenbrunn).
Make sure you bring plenty of warm clothes!

Hope this helps and please don't hesitate to contact me for more help!
