i were wondering if anybody could help me as i have a 2 year old daughter and she is a twin she doesn't walk or talk she only says bout 3 words if you are lucky. She can count up 2 30 through,she doesn't answer 2 her name and she bites and head butts the floor all of the time which i am very concerned about. She doesn't play with her brother or any other children and rocks from sided to sided all the time she doesn't give you hugs or kisses or tell you if she wants anything 2 eat or drink like her brother, could any 1 give me a little help as i have had people say they think autism but i don't no so can someone tell me if they have heard of this behavior before please and also she doesnt like being held or touched unless she wants to but she preferres being on her own rocking

I am not a doctor, and it is impossible to diagnose a child over the internet. However, what you say about her sounds like she could be autistic. Please go and see a specialist with your daughter if you are concerned and get her evaluated.

As I'm not doing well right now and am not in the shape of answering questions well - I recieved a few low ratings lately - I'll take a break from AllExperts for the next few weeks/until I'm doing better

I am an adult diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome/High Functioning Autism and ADD.

In the past years I have also read a lot about autism and its comorbid conditions and related subjects (as I am experiencing symptoms of most of these or know others who do) , so I have accumulated a lot of layman knowledge in this area (AD(H)D, Tourette's Syndrome, OCD, sleep disorders, allergies, sensory integration dysfunction, learning difficulties, left/right-brain, giftedness, Irlen Syndrome, prism glasses, executive dysfunction (aka. "inertia"), "special" diets).
