Question
Hello, my son Joshua is 7 years old and was diagnosed with autism at 3, he is non verbal, not potty trained, and rarely understands things when told, there has not been anyone who has been able to reach him or help him this far, is there anything or anyone you can recommend that might be able to help my son?

Answer
Hey Jennifer,

Thank You for your important question.

There are many techniques offered for the treatment of Autism.
One of the most cited techniques is the behavioral program called the ABA model. It is important to take your time and make sure you are able to give to your child what he can best respond to. He can be connected to please do not give up. There are those out there that may know ht best way to "touch" your child just keep trying and most of all never stop believing that a connection will one day be made.
