Autism/Question In The Pool

Question
This is Trey, one of your AllExperts 'coworkers'. :) I received a question today that asked for a diagnosis. I have said many times in the past that I am not a doctor, and am quite uncomfortable giving an actual diagnosis because of this. However, I didn't want to simply send them on saying 'I can't answer you'. I have put the question in the Question Pool, and wonder if you might be able to 'tag off' and answer it, as between you and I, you're definitely the more expert AllExpert.

If the answer is 'no', feel free to send that to me and I can pluck it out of the pool and give them a polite 'Sorry; I can't be a diagnostician' answer.

Answer
Hi Trey;

Thank you for your compliment, but I doubt I'm the better expert! I will not diagnose either but will attempt an answer. Merry Christmas!

Follow-up: I saw two questions in the pool. I had already answered Brittany's email (she emailed us both) and then answered the other question about IEPs. I assume you were referencing Brittany's question?
