My son is aspergers, but i feel he also has a learning difficulty and is not age approprate he is 11 his speech is immature and he can also act immature, but proffesionals say he is age approprate in speech and is of average intellegence, who do i see to confirm this.

Answer
Hi Deborah;

Do you live in the U.S. or UK? If in the U.S., have him evaluated in all areas as part of the special education process at his school: cognitive, academic, speech and language and social/emotional areas. If you live in the UK, you could have the school's psychologist do the same.

Kind regards,
James
