My son is 2 years old now and he has not start talking yet.he undertsand very well what we are saying to him , e.g give me the ball , give me the spoon and all the object we asked to him . he don't play with the children of her age but with older children.but when he see  childs he points them and make sounds. have tantrums sometimes . play with ball, when he see a animal or something that he likes he point them , smiles, but he cry when another person want to take him . he is very close to my husband and cry when he leave . when we are ready to get out he take her pants or blouse and gave me to wear him or try to wear himself .From all these signs is my son autistic

Hey Alia,

Thank you for your important question regarding your son. The younger a child is the more challenging it is to diagnose. A child the age of your son will need to be most closely monitored around the area of language. I would watch closely how long it takes for him to develop language expression. The greater the delay the more likely a diagnosis of Autism should be considered. I would watch to see how much initiative he takes to point things out and interact with others. I recognize some symptoms of an attachment disorder like crying when his daddy leaves and when others come to take him places.

A diagnosis should be considered when it becomes apparent his language is falling significantly behind where he should be for his age.

I do not believe I understand the last part of the question about the pant and blouse.

Overall it is hard to speculate on how many Autistic qualities your son has from the question. Continue to closely monitor him and write me back in 6-9 months to let me know how he is progressing.
