Question
I have twin boys age 2 who do not speak, make slight sounds, try to show me what they want be directing me with there hands, kiss cuddle and copy actions through song, also hold ear alot, give eye contact more everyday, but can't talk, 1 is trying so hard to communicate please advise on behaviour, also dont like trying different food just throw it on the floor

Answer
Hi Hayley

Have your children been formally diagnosed with autism?

For communication, I highly recommend starting an augmentative communication system with them so that they can learn to communicate eventhough they are not talking yet. This is very important. You should take my class on Communication Strategies for Low and Nonverbal Individuals on July 29. Log into my website to learn more about it.

Their behavior will improve if the communication increases.
I can work with you individually if you like on the communication and feeding issues.

Are you working with therapists in the UK?
