hi a few of my friends has asked me if my baby boy as got autism as he has never played with other kids or ever bother with my friends hes very much a loner but he does play with his older bro at times. he was crawlin at 5 months n walkin at 9 n half months n even climbin at bout 6 months but theres no comunication he says very little ..cwac cwac for duck chu chu for train. by by .num num for dinner ...but wen hes was about 6 months he was sayin dada n mama n deta for peter his brother o i dont no its hard to no wats goin on wat do you think ...o and he loves demolition lol like tryin to brake my fridge and cooker and cuberds. i tell him no no but he stil goes bac ..

Hi Margaret,

It sounds like your son's gross motor skills are right on track - actually they're way ahead of most kids his age.  At this point your son should be talking a whole lot more.  That doesn't mean he has autism, but I do think he should be evaluated. Never playing with other kids can be a concern too and I think it's a great idea to bring this to the attention of a professional.
Ask your pediatrician for a referral for someone who specializes in childhood disorders.  I don't think you're in the USA so I'm not sure if you have anything the equivalent of early intervention.  But if you do, please take advantage of this.

The symptoms of autism can be confusing.  I recommend you read this article called "How do you know if your child has autism?"  This will help make things clearer about what you could see and what you should watch out for.  You can find the article here.
