Question
my child turn 2 in april and he is not talking but he can hear is that a sign of autism. thanks
Hi Malissa
I don't know if your son has autism, but I can tell you that he is language delayed. There are several signs of autism and language delay is one, however, that alone is not autism. At this point, I would recommend that you get in touch with your local public school and ask them to set up an appointment for you to have him evaluated through the Early Intervention Team in your area. They will test him in several areas and determine if he needs just speech and language help or other things as well.
I also do consultations over the phone with parents who have children that are like your son. If this is something that you are interested in, let me know and I will give you more information.
