Question
Are people with Aspergers more likely to also suffer from prosopagnosia?

Answer
Hey Jennifer,

Thank you for your interesting question.

One of the main components of Asperger's is to struggle with the ability to read emotions and meaning upon the face of people we interact with. Prosopagnosia means to be blind to the ability to read or recognize people we are already familiar with.

As such these are two disctinctly different things. The individual on the ASD will likely not read the emotions on the face of the person we are talking to but would know who they are talking to.
