hi there. my son is 20 months. what are some early signs i should watch out for autisim? thank you.
Hi Rea
Well, I will start with where your son should be at this point-being 20 months.
By 20 months, your son should be spontaneously expressing around 50-100 words for what he wants. Not that the words will be super clear, but clear enough so he gets his point across.
He should be quite interactive and interested in people.
He should be able to follow limited directions and respond when you call him.
There are other things, but that's a good start.
