Question
My grandson has what we think is AS but are having a problem finding a doc in our area that can confirm this and get him in a treatment program.
He was born at 23 weeks gestation and has some other medical problems. He is now 16 years old.

You want to find someone expert in autism, Asperger's, and nonverbal learning disabilities. Usually a Children's Hospital or an autism unit of a nearby university can handle this. Let me know if you have any more questions.
