Question
How can you stop constant tearing of clothes and socks. Have never had this issue before and he is now 13 years old.
Hi Marge;
Behavior is communication, but can also be sensory related. You'll have to try and identify what function this behavior is serving. In addition to sensory issues, this may be a sign of stress at school. You should try and read up on Functional Behavioral Assessments on the Internet. This is a bit too complicated for me to address on this forum.
