Question
QUESTION: The heater in this car will not blow hot air. I troubleshot it for awhile and found that the a/c compressor doesn't shut off in any temp. setting. I checked the fuse and the resistor and everything is good. I think that it could be the potentiometer in the controls from going from hot to cold. Am I on the right track or is there something else that could cause the a/c to stay on in every temp. setting.

ANSWER: HI Rick

Need to know what type of car.  Let me know and I'll help.

Answer
Hi Rick

Pull your ac button knob and make sure that it is not broken.  Fords tend to break quite easily. Check your other knobs and make sure they are OK.  Then look into your potentiometer.  But you have two knobs that are doing the same thing if I understand you correctly.
