Question
This past summer, I had the A/C repaired on my Ram.  It was quite extensive and expensive.  Now that winter has arrived, I have tried to use the heat with no success.  The blower works and the A/C works but no heat.  I have checked all the fuses and they are fine.  I hope there is a simple something that was overlooked in the installation of the A/C but I don't know where to begin.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
HI Al

Need to know if your system is a manual control or an automatic control.  If manual a cable runs it and it may be disconnected.  Look on the passengers side underneath the dashboard.  If you look towards the drivers side from underneath yu will see a lever that moves with the cable.  See if that is moveing or not.  If It is automatic control  then open the glove campartment and you may be able to look between the dash and the evaporator case for a small motor that moves the door.  Let me know which one it is and I'll help.
