When I run heater,it only blows from defrost vent.Climate control center has econ, auto,hi and lo settings.I usually use auto to control heat output. It does Quite a bit, from what I understand, to operate controls automatically.up until recently,it operated fine from all vents.Ac compressor is down,no refrigerant. Can freon pressure switch Cause defrost vent only problem? If not,What else? Thanks,   Ray. P.S.-Please respond A.S.A.P.-HELP!

Answer
HI Ray

The refrigerant does not cause that.  Check at the firewall and see if one of your vacuum hoses is disconnected.  You will see a tank on the drivers side engine compartment .  Make sure you have both hoses connected.  Let me know if this is only happening for heat or is it on all settings.
