Question I have a 2002 Dodge Durango. I need help. My a/c blows hot air. A friend looked at it thinking it needed to be recharged but the lines were frosty meaning the a/c was charged and working but hot air is only blowing from the vents. Any ideas on what is wrong?
Answer Hi Tifanie
Your heater door may be open very common on these vehicles for the door to break and stay open. One quick check is to start car when cold and put ac on. When you see the temperature gauge go up on dash see if it stops cooling. If this is the case then your heater is the problem.
