Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair - 93 ford e350 diesel ac

Expert: Candido Figueroa - 6/24/2009

Question
we have a 93 ford e350 7.3 diesel that has ac in front and back.  it appears someone has re-routed some ac lines so there is no rear ac.  there is an empty spot for a liquid line coming out of the front condenser, and a suction line to the rear that is not plugged into anything up front.  where can i find a schematic to tell me what's missing and what goes where??  we have a cross country trip planned, leaving in less than a week!!

Answer
Hi Mike

Unfortunately it sounds like an after market system  and if so there is no schematic for it.  All I can tell you is both evap. systems will work off  of one compressor and condenser so you need to splice into the front unit.  Before you do that you need to check the rear evap. for leaks that may be why it is disconnected.
