I replaced the compressor on my 95 geo prism,evacuated the system,to 29hg and went to charge system but it will not take the freon or the oil charge .Can you help me out and tell me how to get the freon into the system clutch will not cycle.Thanks for any help.Johnny

Hi Johnny

You need to check the service valve and make sure freon is going thru.
If it does not go thru change valve.  If it is going in then check power at the compressor and at the cycling switch.  Compressor will turn on only if you have freon (50 psi min.) in system so the cycling switch will close and let the power go to the relay and compressor.
