Answer about "LOW pressure reading constantly going up & down between 16-41 psi"-

When clutch engaged, compressor sucking refrigerant from accumulator which as low pressure side; low side pressure start going down. after down to 25 - 19psi, "Low Pressure Cycling Switch" cut off 12v to clutch, compressor stop running, low side pressure goes up! Up to 40 - 45psi switch on(12v) kick in clutch; compressor start running again. Cycle during every 3 - 5sec. Until you refill enough refrigerant (check manual of your vehicle, mostly around 20 - 30oz http://www.aa1car.com/library/ac_recharging.htm). The only way to stop this cycle is when pressure no drop to 25psi while your A/C are running as MAX COOL/FAN. If it still after you fix it a little while, then must be leak!
