Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair - relay

Expert: Candido Figueroa - 6/18/2009

Question
where is the air conditioner relay on the front end of a 1996 oldsmobile cierra?  I am having problems getting the air conditioner fan to come on in the front and i can not find the relay to check it....also is there any way to check a relay without jumping the wires????

Answer
Hi Chris

Relays should be in the front passenger side behind the front head lamps .  The little rack has about 4-5 relays  Starting from the fender to the drivers side the first and second relays control the fans if they have not been moved before.
