Question
I have the digital dual climate control system.  When the truck becomes wet, either from rain or a car wash, the compressor turns off. The AC will not engage for several minutes or even hours.  I replaced the ambient temperature sensor on the front thinking this was it. Please help.

Answer
Hi Matt

I have never come across this problem.  There are no other sensors out side the vehicle.  Check your electrical connector and wire for some type of damage.  All your other sensors are in the dash board solar on top.  Two more air temp. sensors in the evap case.  I would check the wires before you spend any more money.
