got a check engine light found out there is a issue with the cooling fan on radiator. The smaller of the two fans ianot working. Ac is blowing like normal. Does make a humming sond when ac is on high.. either way the code I get says to chech relay. What can I do to narrowdiwn the prblm?

Hi Michael

The smaller of the two fans only comes on when your ac compressor is on.  Check Engine lights turn on when your emissions are not correct for that year that model.  Not my field but I doubt the condenser fan would cause a check engine light.  Need to know where humming wound is coming from the inside or the outside.  If outside the compressor needs that fan to turn on.  If inside the blower may either have something stuck in it or may need replacement.
