Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair/AC Parts

Question
I have a 2003 Honda Civic 1.7 DX.  It was purchased without AC installed.  I was looking to put it in but want to make sure that I know all the parts to obtain.  Is there a place with this information listed?  I have found new parts like the compressor, drier, and expansion valve but I need a list so I can get all the parts that will be needed.  That includes the interior parts.  I can probably find mounting hardware from a salvage yard.  Thank you.

Answer
HI Joe

You have a 2003 you could probably get the entire unit form a salvage yard and save a lot of money.  If you want it new you can call the dealer and get a complete kit.  Aftermarket companies have stopped making units.  If I were you I would just find one at the salvage yard  and make sure it is a sealed unit with refrigerant still in it.  You will need compressor, hoses 5 or 6 total, condenser, drier, all hardware, evaporator, Evap. case with thermostat, relay for fuse box, control for ac unit, and idle control.  It will be better if you get it all at salvage yard.
