Question
I have a 1994 ford ranger 4X4 and the air conditioning is just blowing cool but not cold air from the ac vents when the ac is on.  What is the correct way to recharge the ac.

Answer
Hi Grant

Find the accumulator located at the evaporator case.  There you will find a service port.  Attach you gauges  and add refrigerant.  If you are in the south and it is warm your readings should stay at about 35-45 psi.  If you are in the north and it is starting to cool then your readings should stay at about 25-35 psi.  Good luck and let me know
