Question
QUESTION: I have a 1999 chevy suburban. When I turn the air on, it only blows from the dash defrost vents. It will not switch over to my feet, body or any other combination.

ANSWER:  Hi Scott

Try and disconnect your battery and see if this resets your actuator motor.  Hopefully this will do it. Let me know.

QUESTION: Candido, didn't work. My A/C light doesn't come on also.

Answer
The  light may be bad but the control may still be good.  Lets check if when you turn on the ac blower all speeds work properly.  If they do then push the ac button and check if compressor turns on if it does then your button light is out but not the control.  Then you need to check on the driver side under the dash you will an actuator tap it with something to see if it will move.  If it moves then your actuator is bad.  If it does not move then pull it out and test it with no load.  Check for ground and power at the actuator motor is you have both then your motor is bad.  I'm pretty sure your motor is going to be bad.
