Question
I have an 1999 Jeep GC 4.7litre auto 4X4 dual heat zone.
That gives me poor heat and poor AC I get hardly any heat and the AC works at first then gets warm after say when the engine puts hot coolant in to the heater core I lose my AC cooling. The engine is a least 200 degrees F.  Both heater lines be come hot so flow is not the issue the shaft on the door is not broken the stop is still in place on the shaft and the door moves smoothly, no broken door. The motor next to the glove box moves from all the travel of the door is say about 50 degrees rotation more the 45.

Answer
HI Terry

Lets take the heat first.  Check the operation by turning on the car letting it get warm and then turn on the heat. Check the operation of the compressor see if it turns on or not.  If it is on then make sure your button is off.  Let me know and then we will look at the ac system.
