Question
When I'm using heat or A/C in the truck everything seems to run fine, but there is a noise when the heat or A/C is running. I popped the engine hood and the noise is coming from the clutch on the A/C unit. It seems to stop and start rhythmically, and I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Should I be concerned?

Answer
Hi James

Make sure you turn off the ac and see if the noise stops.  Then turn on ac and see if it begins again.  After that turn to heat and see if the compressor is off again.  Tell me if the ac is cooling good and what your ambient temperature is in you area.  Let me know what it does in all the steps and I'll try and help you.
