Question
I own a 1998 Dodge Ram with the 5.9L engine.  Whne I turn on the fan, the fan runs but no air comes out of the dash vents.  It seems to come out of the vents on the floor.

Answer
HI Jim

It sounds like you have a vacuum problem.  From the passengers side in the engine compartment look for the vacuum source coming from the engine.  Follow that source towards the fire wall you will see the vacuum hose leading into the vehicle where your accumulator is at.  Disconnect there and see if you have vacuum.  If you do not then find the break in the line and repair.  If you do then your problem is inside the vehicle.  You must check your vacuum lines and see if you have vacuum.  Check and let me know.
