Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair/'97 Rav4 A/C clutch

Question
After replacing the condenser & hose assembly, and charging the system back up, the clutch is "clicking" and seems to be stuck (or can't engage), although the compressor is turning.  The blower is not working either, but was removed and tested and was working like a champ. Now I get a flashing green light on the A/C button, and feel I have an electrical gremlin! Does this sound more like a relay or blower resistor issue, or a clutch that has gone bad?

Answer
The Toyota products have a sensor on the rear or bottom of compressor.  When you engage the compressor it send a signal to the pcm if it does not receive the signal it will turn off the compressor and light will blink.  You need to have someone check it out for you if you are not sure what you are doing.  You may have your compressor locked up.
