Question My 2003 Mitsubishi Galant car seems to be leaking water onto the floor board of my car, and droplets of water are blowing out of the AC vents. It is coming from somewhere under the dashboard. Is this an easy fix or should I seek the help of a mechanic?
Could it be a problem with something else?
Answer Hello A Grant, Check the a/c drain hose for condensation flow. Sounds like the drain hose may be plugged-up with debris.
I`ve had to tell my customers not to park under trees often.Small leaves get sucked into a/c thru the cowl area near wiper blades. Get to a shop to lift vehicle and use air pressure to back blow drain hose. Watch out! water will poor out when this process is done. Warning! be sure water in carpet is dryed out. MOLD will form in your car.
Bad if you got alergys.
