I had the same problem and it is a common problem with the galant. I had my drain hose "unplugged" and that didn't help. The dealership said that the only reason it was not a recall is because it isn't dangerous. You have to get it fixed at the dealership to get it fixed and it is a 200-300 dollar problem.
