i have a 1998 cavalier 2.2 motor and need to replace the radiator. how do you disable the air bag system to remove the radiator?
Hi Ed:
The best way to disable an airbag system is to disconnect the battery (and any auxiliary power source, eg. cell phone cradle, memory saver, etc) and wait 10 minutes. The system is then powered down and you can work on or near it safely.
