Question
I have had my 2002 dodge durango in the shop for more than 2 weeks, the air bag light will not go off?? We have replaced a seatbelt and all the wiring? Now they say it is getting too much voltage???

Answer

Chrysler specific scan
Hello T:

Your vehicle will require a scan tool for the proper diagnosis.  I will need to know the code that the scanner produces before I can help you with your specific problem.  Throwing parts at a problem, especially an airbag related problem, can get REAL EXPENSIVE FAST.

Here's a site that will explain everything you need to know about airbag lights and resetting the system.
http://www.airbagsolutions.com/
This is my company website and I'm not trying to sell you anything.  We both need more information from the shop before we can really discuss this further, so please get back to me with the codes.  If they cannot retrieve the codes, or do not know what the codes are, then you have the wrong shop.  The scan tool required for this repair is different than a scan tool for the 'check engine' light; it's Chrysler or airbag specific.

I'll look forward to hearing from you
