Auto Airbag System Repair/Air bag Module

Question
How do I replace an airbag module on a 93 Toyota Corrola. My mechanic was working on my ac compressor when he blew a fuse and the airbag light has not gone off since. I found a module for $35 at a junkyard and want to try it to see if this is the problem. Toyota wanted $500 for the part. Please advise asap. Thanks

Josh

Answer
Hi Josh:
My guess is that all you need to do is reset the system.  My company offers these reset procedures as well as photo locations for the components on over 3500 vehicles including yours.  We sell this information to insurance companies and body shops, but offer 1 day subscriptions for individuals like yourself as well.  The cost is $14.95 for a one day access.
Here is the website and the link to the purchase page.  Once you purchase the subscription, you will have immediate access to all the information.  Pay attention to the frames at the bottom of the page; that's where the light reset and clearing methods are located.
If resetting it does not help, you will have all the information you need to find and replace the module as well.
