Question
We have to replace a deployed drivers air bag on our Ford Taurus.  We purchased a new one from Ford but now I've received conflicting info on what else has to be replaced. Does the module and driver's seat belt have to be replaced or is there a way they can be reset?

Answer
Hi Luke:

sorry about your deployment.

Our company (www.airbagsolutions.com) provides information on how to replace and restore the airbag system properly.  We do not sell the parts, but rather show you what parts you will need to complete the job properly without returning again and again to the dealer.  The vehicle you are referring to has very specific requirements and other parts that need to be replaced after a deployment (not just the airbags).

We offer (for a small subscription fee of $14.95), pictures, locations and information on what needs to be replaced when the airbags deploy.  You can log on yourself,(purchase page) purchase a 1-day subscription and access the information yourself so you know what to buy, what it looks like and where it is located on your vehicle.

If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to ask
